Pilates Has Your Back.
In a systematic review of 118 different exercises - including strength training, yoga, stretching, cardio and more, one exercise proved most effective for back pain:
PILATES - with a 93% success rate.

A healthy spine is designed to move in four directions: flexion, extension, side-bending, and rotation. When you lose mobility in any of these, your lower back pays the price.
Iron Horse Pilates uses the comprehensive Pilates system to restore your spine’s natural mobility. By combining controlled resistance with targeted movement, the practice allows your spine to decompress and strengthen - building a resilient, pain-free back that supports your every move.

I have two degenerating discs
and a bone in my lower lumbar.
I have chronic back pain from playing football and bodybuilding. A few weeks ago, I took a Pilates class
from Erin. That evening, for the
first time, I was able to get up from
my reclining chair without any pain, so this form of exercise really helped me. Thanks, Erin

Pilates has changed me
physically and mentally and I will be forever grateful to Erin! I enjoy the 1-on-1 boutique setting because we are able to pivot and change a workout to improve areas of weakness in my body and talk about personal goals & ways to improve my overall health.

Erin is an amazing instructor! My husband and I loved our session with her. My neck and shoulders held tension and were sore. On my way home, I noticed no more tension! After being home for a bit, my husband noticed his back pain was gone! Absolutely incredible results! Thank you, Erin, we will be back for more!

My Path, My Mission
My commitment to this work comes from a very personal place. For me, Pilates began in the saddle. After sustaining a shoulder injury from a fall, I
began practicing Pilates to rehabilitate my mobility, strength, and overall balance. What I quickly discovered, however, was that the benefits reached
far deeper than just physical rehabilitation - a place to reset and find a sense of groundedness I hadn't known was possible. That transformation shifted
my perspective on what it means to be "fit," and I
realized true health is the synergy between moving well and feeling whole.
The goal is simple: to make your body your
favorite place to live. Though I work with clients
of all fitness levels, I specialize in guiding people through spine and hip pain to rebuild strength, mobility, and functional ease. As a comprehensively certified Pilates educator, I draw from the entire Pilates system - utilizing a range of apparatus to create a truly personalized movement plan to build
a body that is as resilient as it is mobile. This isn’t
just a boutique studio; it’s a supportive home where we move to feel whole again.
