Pilates Has Your Back

A healthy spine is meant to move in four directions: flexion, extension, side-bending, and rotation. If you lose mobility in even one of these directions, your lower back often
pays the price.

At Iron Horse Pilates, the full Pilates system is utilized to safely restore multi-directional spinal mobility and unlock your spine’s natural range of motion. By combining
targeted strengthening with controlled resistance, the system allows your spine to articulate, stretch, and decompress safely. The result is a resilient, pain-free back that
supports you through every daily movement.

My Path, My Mission

My commitment to this work comes from a very personal place. For me, Pilates began in the saddle. I originally started training simply to become a better rider, but I quickly discovered that the benefits reached far deeper than my physical strength.
During a challenging period with my mental health, the studio became my sanctuary - the space where I finally learned to reconnect my mind and body. This practice became the key that not only alleviated my sore back but offered a sense of groundedness and resilience I hadn't known was possible. That transformation shifted my perspective on what it means to be "fit." I realized that true health is the synergy between a calm mind and a capable body, working in harmony to heal the spirit while strengthening the physical self.

Because I’ve experienced that shift - from physical stiffness and mental "noise" to a life of strength and clarity—I am deeply passionate about helping you find your own path to relief.
The goal is simple: to make your body your favorite place to live. I specialize in working with those navigating spine and hip pain, focusing on restoring the strength, mobility, and functional ease you need. As a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor, my teaching goes beyond any single piece of equipment; I draw from the entire Pilates system - utilizing a range of apparatus to create a truly personalized movement plan to  build a body that is as resilient as it is mobile. This isn’t just a boutique studio; it’s a supportive home where we move to feel whole again.

Sessions

Finding Your Rhythm for Results

One of the most common questions is, "How often should I come in to see real change?" While any movement is a win, Pilates rewards CONSISTENCY.

1 Session Per Week: The Foundation

Perfect for those looking to maintain mobility, complement other activities and keep the spine feeling supple.

2 Sessions Per Week: The Transformation Standard

This is the "sweet spot" I recommend for most clients. Coming in twice a week allows your body to build the muscle memory needed to truly change your posture and protect your spine. At this rhythm, you’ll start to feel a significant reduction in hip and back discomfort.

3 Sessions Per Week: The Fast Track to Resilience

For those looking to accelerate their results, three days a week is the gold standard. This frequency provides the deep physical conditioning and mental well-being needed to feel stronger, more balanced and mobile in everything you do.

Professional Recommendation:

To move beyond simple maintenance and see lasting results in your strength and spinal health, I suggest aiming for 2 to 3 sessions per week. This ensures your body stays in a consistent cycle of progress. Enjoy a preferred rate when you commit to your weekly rhythm.
